Language Arts Learning Goals:

Math Learning Goals:
*understand how many tens are in decade numbers (40 has 4 tens)
*mentally add and subtract tens to 2 digit numbers (36+40=76 or 98-50=48)
*mentally add or subtract 10 to any number up to 99
*read, write, represent, order, and compare numbers to 99
*understand two-digit numbers as tens and ones (67= 6 tens and 7 ones)
*write two-digit numbers as an equation of tens and ones (83= 80+3)
*build math fact fluency to 20
*see two-digit numbers in different ways
*review and test over Unit 4
Science and Health Learning Goals:
*compare and contrast the day and night sky
*make notes about the Sun
*study and observe shadows
*understand and model what causes day and night
Our Week:
Monday: Library/ Art/Counselor/Homework: prepare for the math test
Tuesday: Art/Homework: Program tonight! Be to school at 6:45 dressed nicely.
Wednesday: Music/Homework: Spring Scavenger Hunt. Bring an empty plastic bottle with lid.
Thursday: Camp Deerfield begins! /Music/Homework: No homework!
Friday: No School. Have a good weekend!
